Use the profile library from Esa-Prima Win in SCIA Engineer

In SCIA Engineer it is possible to use the Profile Library from ESA-Prima Win. This also allows using sections made in the Profile Editor in SCIA Engineer.

Follow this procedure:

• Change in SCIA Engineer the path to the 'Profiles' through Setup > Options > tab 'Directories' to the path where the Profile Library of ESA-Prima Win has been installed. (by default 'C:\SCIA\PROF_BIB\DATA')
• Using Windows Explorer, copy the following two files from the Profile Library of SCIA Engineer to the Profile Library of ESA-Prima Win:

  • Descrip_ID_US.txt

  • Source_ID.txt

So from 'C:\Program Files\SCIA\ESAxx\Prof' to 'C:\SCIA\PROF_BIB\DATA'
